I was born in Penang but raised elsewhere. I have deep feelings for this island. Above, some of my black and white works on Penang. The old chinese man works as a parking attendant. He'll go around Gurney Drive in his rusty green bicycle, passing people their parking tickets. Even under scorching heat, he would still throw a smile at you. A humble man with 'budi bicara' that all these local goverments can learn
from. But sometimes, when nobody's watching, you can see this look on his face. Worry. I hope for the best for him. I honestly do.

Taking a stroll - Putrajaya

To be very honest, I have never been to Putrajaya for pleasure (business or pleasure, sir?). My visits have always been on some meeting or some conference or some event, never enough time to just enjoy this amazing city. So, after the Malaysian Fotopages' gathering, I took the opportunity to 'capture' her and she was beautiful. Looks a bit middle eastern but still very Malaysian. A short visit it was, but enough to seduce me to visit her again, soon.

In the midst of the moving the country towards the K Industry, people tend to forget about those who strive on the day to day basis. They sell 'kacang' in front of Classic Hotel, Muar and they have been selling 'kacang' for 35 years.
